A: The Topsy’s brand has been a Kansas City tradition for over 70 years now. The first Topsy’s popcorn shop opened on the famous Country Club Plaza in the 1940s, and the Topsy’s trademark was officially registered in 1950.
A: Topsy’s four flagship flavors are classic buttered popcorn, rich caramel, spicy cinnamon, and tangy cheese. Whether you have a sweet tooth or prefer saltier snacks, we have something to satisfy every craving. Depending on the size of popcorn tin you buy, you can choose from up to three of these flavors.
A: Today, Topsy’s continues to operate our original Country Club Plaza store. It’s the oldest continuously-operating business on the Plaza! We also have other locations throughout the Kansas City metro; you can find a complete list of locations here. Additionally, Topsy’s Popcorn is sold in select Kansas City-area Hy-Vee and Price Chopper grocery stores. If you can’t stop by or don’t live in the area, you can order tins or treat boxes online at TopsysPopcorn.com and have them delivered to your door.
A: In addition to our delicious gourmet popcorn, Topsy’s also offers ice cream and refreshing limeade at select stores.
